12/19/2015 - Deer Flat

I spent the day on the Central Contra Costa Christmas Bird Count covering upper Mitchell Canyon (Deer Flat area) on Mount Diablo. It wasn't particularly birdy, but once the early morning storm cleared, we were treated to beautiful light, clouds, and vistas.
